Whole30 Approved

IMG_5299.jpeg

Have you ever seen the stamp Whole30 Approved on a bottle or can at the grocery store? If you have done a round of Whole30 then you most likely know how eye opening it is to read nutrition labels. You quickly find that most products contain sugar, soy and gluten. Discovering products that are ok to use on a round is so exciting and saves hours in the kitchen. So many of us made our own ketchup back in the day but now there are several options available.

We might take it for granted but this is a huge development in the field- companies are taking note and actually changing their formulas to make their products Whole30 friendly. The official stamp means that they have applied, been reviewed and accepted to use that badge of honor. It is a rigorous process and I’m happy to report that new companies are being added all the time.

What does this mean for you if you could care less about Whole30? Well it means you should still buy these products because they are the most clean, natural products out there. Why purchase a salad dressing that has added sugar and wheat when you can grab a Tessemae’s and know it is going to be as close to homemade as you can get.

Some of my other pantry staples are The New Primal sauces and spices, Saucy Lips sauces and marinades, Humm Kombucha (certain flavors) and a variety of Primal Kitchen products.

So whether you are preparing for a round of Whole30 or just want to choose more wisely, look for the Whole30 Approved stamp.
